Three people wear hats from a set of 3 red and 2 white. Each sees the others' hats but not their own. A and B both say 'I don't know my color.' C, who can see nothing, says 'I know.' What color is C's hat?
Hint: What would A see if both B and C wore white?
Red.
If B and C both wore white, A would know he's red. So at least one of B and C is red. If C were white, B would then know he's red. B didn't know, so C must be red.
